Hi folks,

My itinerary has been updated to reflect my current pace.  Trail report coming soon…

School is over. The holidays have passed. And we start in 2.5 months…

We’ve just added a page to our site that allows you to contribute to our trip. Check out the Donate! link on the right hand sidebar. The donation site is associated with Paypal, and so is encrypted and very secure.

Thankfully, the trip is coming together, at least the first season. We received a generous pile of equipment from Granite Gear (props again to Torry Moore). And, while there is loads of snow in the Sierra, we hope to start on time. Financially, it seems that we’ll be OK for equipment and clothing, but we are still short on money for food. Some back country food companies have offered us good deals on bulk foods, meaning the bill will be lower, but we need help to cover the entire trip. Here’s your chance to make your mark on the world! Or at least on my world.
